An especially lovely antique locket and chain necklace dating from the Edwardian period, circa 1910. The locket is tiny, measuring just 1.8cm in length, and it's finished in exceptionally fine turquoise guilloché enamelling within a white enamel border. Designed to be worn short like a choker, with the pendant hanging on a single vertical drop, the chain comprises miniature trombone links embellished with little enamelled ovals coloured to match the locket. Crafted in 15 karat gold throughout.
